How khochothuê collects and ranks listings

Where the information comes from

Every day the system looks for new storage providers through web search and maps, for each storage type and each area of Ho Chi Minh City.

Prices, addresses, opening hours and specifications are read from each provider's own website. We do not copy classified listings or Google Maps data.

How it is checked

A detail is published only when a verbatim quote from the provider's page supports it, and it is checked again independently against that quote. Anything that doesn't match is dropped, never guessed.

A listing appears only with a name, storage type, an address inside Ho Chi Minh City, at least one way to get in touch, and the key specification for its type (for example the temperature range for cold storage).

Listings say they are not yet confirmed by the provider because they are compiled automatically. Confirm prices directly before renting.

How often it is updated

Every listing is re-checked about once a week. A changed price is stored as a new price, keeping history for the monthly price index.

A listing whose website can't be reached repeatedly is marked as closed.

How listings are ranked

The default order is based on how complete a listing is and how recently it was checked. No provider pays for or receives a higher position.

You can sort by price, distance or date instead, and filter by size, temperature, certification and amenities.

Corrections and removal

Every listing has a “Report wrong information” button. A business owner can ask for removal: the page comes down immediately and the system won't re-publish it.
